What are the key features of different types of Label Holders?

We sell three main types of label holders:

  • Self Adhesive Label Holders – these are made of clear, extruded plastic with an adhesive strip on the back. The label sits within the holder and is protected by extruded plastic. This type of holder is designed to stay where it is adhered to, the label that sits inside can be kept, or switched if required
  • Plastic Magnetic Label Holders – these are the same type of holder as the Self Adhesive Labels Holders, but with a magnetic strip on the reverse. This means that the holder can be taken off the shelf/racking and moved to another location. The label can also be changed if required. The label sits within the holder and is protected by extruded plastic.
  • Magnetic Label Holder – Made completely from a flexible magnetic material with a C side Profile and an open front for the label to sit within. Due to the magnetic material this holder can also be moved around.

If you are unsure which type will suit your needs please contact out team who are always happy to help to advise. We can also send out samples so you can look at the options before you buy.

Do you offer bulk discounts on large orders?

Yes we offer discounts on a large number of our label holders. When you look at the product line the quantity breaks are clearly shown so you can see where the
discounts are offered.

Are your labels and signs suitable for cold storage environments?

Our product range can be produced to work in ambient, chilled and frozen environments, and also in external storage areas. Depending on where you will be using the item will depend on the material that we recommend.

Be sure to select products marked for these environments, or contact us for recommendations, our helpful team will provide advice based on your specific requirement.

What are magnetic labels, and when should I use them?

Magnetic labels are a popular labelling and label holder option. They are suitable for freezer and chilled environments, but also offer flexibility and can be moved around easily in an ambient space.

They can be easily applied, removed, and repositioned without leaving residue, making them perfect for dynamic warehouse setups.

What is the best way to install Label Holders?

Make sure that the surface that the holders are going on to is clean, free from dust and grease and dry. Work out where you are going to position the label holder, peel off the strip on the back of the holder, revealing the adhesive and place it directly onto the racking/shelving. Run a palm across the holder to smooth it onto the shelf.

Magnetic Label holders should also be laid onto a clean and dry shelf/rack, but these can be easily moved.
